What exciting news today. One of my passions has always been Egypt and so with today's news that treasures from King Tut's tomb will be coming to Melbourne next year I am excited. The exhibition Tutankhamen and the Golden Age of the Pharoahs will be in Melbourne in April 2011. It will feature more than 130 artefacts from Tut's tomb and the tombs and temples of his ancestors.
Egypt's Ministry of Culture has said that this is the last time that Tut's treasures will ever leave his homeland.

That's exciting news indeed! I myself is fascinated with everything Egypt, and I am so green with envy now. I guess no more chance of King Tut visiting Asian cities near me :( I wonder how much the ticket costs though *lol* How long will the exhibition run?

Hi, don't know any details yet, but I am so looking forward to it, I'm lucky I only live 2 hours from Melbourne, but I think I would still go if I lived on the other side of Australia. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I just found your blog via a Saturday blog hop and I look forward to following along. How exciting to be able to see such a brilliant piece of history! We are a family that loves to travel and experience as much of the world as possible!
Blessings,
