Back of Card: The Badlands, Alberta Canada
A lichen-covered Hoodoo, created by water erosion, stands like a giant mushroom in the middle of the eerie lunar-like landscape of the Valley of the Moon in Dinosaur Provincial Park.
Dinosaur Provincial Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park contains some of the most important fossil finds ever made from the 'Age of Reptiles', in particular about 35 species of dinosaur, dating back some 75 million years.
